I made this salad this week

1 head of iceberg lettuce,

12 slices of bacon

1 cup of carrot chips

1 cup green peas

I baked the bacon in the oven at 350 degrees F , I got rid of the extra bacon grease and mixed the carrot chips and green peas and toasted in the oven for another 5 min, then added in my lettuce mixed it all up turned off the oven and let the heat from the pan just heat up the veggies.

I love this salad as you do not need to add any dressings, the flavor from the bacon is enough for me.  Usually i would add avacado and roma tomatoes, but there was enough flavor.

Enjoy, got to go take care of Eli.

It is very easy to make and you can tweak it to your liking. Add black beans, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes or cheese etc. :)

  3. Yea, I might use spinach instead of the iceberg. Btw, how do you like blogging so far?
