Today went pretty well, i did everything i had planned to do. Julian surprised me this morning. I woke up and was getting my bottles ready to pump, he came behind me and asked me “may i help you, mama?” I thought i didn’t  hear right, so he asked me again, and i just smiled and said, no am fine thanks for asking Julian.  He was a late talker, so everytime he blurbs something, we get excited.  Today he wanted me to read to him Dr Seuss, Green Eggs and ham and for Eli we read Eric Carle’s  The very hungry caterpillar. They both enjoyed the books.  Eli is grabbing on to things now, and prefers sitting with support. I almost dropped him today,  he was reaching out for Julian’s letters on the floor, and i had to swing my right arm to catch him ): Overall, we had a fun day. 

I finally managed to bake my husband’s bithday cake, i was going to bake it during the week, but our oven broke. We got it fixed so we have the cake and  we will celebrate tomorrow.

I am soo excited about fall/Winter TV shows. My favorite TV  show  is House. I love crazy Dr House, actually i am hooked on this show. It is the one show that when it is on, chances are i would burn food on the stove, i.e if am cooking, lol. I watched the first episode on Fox.com ,  it was great, and i can’t wait to watch the next.  I was very curious to see how they would  work that scene about House going to the  Pysch ward, and i have to admit, it didn’t disappoint.  I loved House Roomie, he played really well, hope to see him again.

Lie To Me  is another show that i watch, and this season opened great.

Grey’s Anatomy – I like Dr Bailey’s character. It is good to see Izzie Stevens is still alive, sad to see George go like that. McDreamy as chief of surgery? I guess i will find out next episode.

Brothers and Sisters – I like watching this show as well, I can identify with Kitty’s mom. That woman lives and breaths for her children. She is always worrying about something with her children. I love the family drama.

Desperate Housewives – I know…we can’t get enough of the women on Wisteria Lane, lol.

There’s a bunch on new shows am yet to watch and see how they do. I wished they had saved Prison Break though, i loved that show.  When do i get time to watch Tv? When everyone else is sleeping, lol.   My husband rented  some old movies that we had already watched in the past,  i think he did that intentionally, so he can  watch college football It is cool though as i can catch up with my shows too, and sleep at a decent hour.

Friday was such a busy day,  I am worn out. The kids are sleeping, so I get to stay up and catch up on my writing. The weather here has changed, it is getting very cold, winter is on the way. I don’t even want to think about it, my husband can’t stand the cold weather, he is always talking about moving to somewhere warm, I must admit warm is definitely attractive right now.

So, Letterman is on the middle of a scandal right now. Apparently he had slept with some of his staffers, I didn’t watch his confession during his show, but hey what better way to let everyone know, other than through comedy, lol. Oh Letterman, yesterday I read on Yahoo  that he is the top paid TV personality — he makes a whopping  $32 million dollars a year! Wow! Talk about making it big. If i was making that kind of money, I won’t be messing around at work. There are so many women out there that he could have had flings with, but  i guess he just couldn’t help it. Mr Letterman, you are not supposed to sleep with your staff,   people lose their jobs for sleeping with their staff.  Imagine how much trouble he will get at home with his wife, oh boy i won’t want to be in his shoes at the moment, that’s for sure!

I like Saturdays, for  it  is the one day of the week that i get my ME time I get to  wake up early  in the morning and go get my hair done, then i come back  home and play with my boys, or go shopping with Julian. It is very important for parents to find time for themselves, even if it is just a couple of hours a day or a whole day if they can. Taking time off doesn’t mean that you do not love your children, you got to love yourself , and  take care of yourself as well. You need to have some hobbies, do things that keep you sane, anything  that takes all that day to day stress away,  so you can recharge yourself, come back refreshed and ready to take care of your children.  Even dads need their own time as well, when both mom and dad are happy, the entire family is happy. We currently take turns, If i take off in the morning, my husband takes off in the afternoon. During the week, he is usually running his errands in the morning, and takes over in the afternoon while i  go to work then.
